// How about them apples Gene Mauch?

  • // I have a completely different take on these situations. The current school paradigm (putting teens in little rooms in little desks and forcing them to act like old people) is so contrary to human nature, that of course you're going to have problems like this. You are putting wild animals in cages, intelligent wild animals that lack the physical ability to control their urges (biologically true). It's amazing there aren't more suicides, fight, drug use, teenage sex and other 'risky behaviors'. You have to work with nature, not against it. Most young people need to be physically active most of the day. Doing work, (literally, the closer to hunting/gathering the work is, the better). Academic learning should be reserved for the evening and nighttime. It should be 3-4 hours a day, everyday (no weekends). The only way to do this right is to homeschool. Othewise, you're going to get these socioneurotic consequences.

// Don't these people watch South Park? And BTW, words don't hurt anybody. Crippling debt, on the other hand…
