Picking Poisons

If I had the power to choose a political opponent and I had the option of going against either a flawed candidate with unlimited resources or a good candidate with very limited resources, I will always want the flawed candidate. Money is not the determinant of success people think it is, and a good candidate can make a little bit of money go a very long way. So yes, I am a little pleased Mark Dayton is the DFL candidate for governor. However, I also think Tom Emmer was the weaker of the MNGOP options. So my excitement for this race is at an all-time low.
